Welcome to the Twin Cities Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame
Everyone makes this Minnesota team. There is no prerequisite football experience required to become a member of the Twin Cities Chapter. In fact, many of our members never even played organized football. Our membership base includes nearly every profession, race, religion, and creed. Our members are: men and women, fans, parents, players, coaches, referees, and administrators. They work as: educators, business people, doctors, lawyers, sales people, laborers, policeman, firefighters, politicians, engineers, etc. Our members share one common bond: their love for amateur football.
As a member of the Twin Cities Chapter, you will support our local efforts and ensure that future high school and college football student-athletes continue to receive recognition for their hard work and leadership on the field, in the classroom and within their community. Our chapter will also recognize Minnesota Football Legends and Leaders. We will be the voice for our local College Hall of Fame Candidates. Click here to Join Now. Breaking News: The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced the names of those who comprise the 2008 FOOTBALL BOWL SUBDIVISION COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME CLASS. Former Minnesota Viking, Randall McDaniel is a part of this class. Congratulations to Randall from the Twin Cities Chapter of the National Football Foundation! Randall is also a member of the Twin Cites Chapter.
RANDALL McDANIEL
 Arizona State University Offensive Guard, 1984-87 A four-year starter and born leader at Arizona State, Randall McDaniel created an unparalleled collegiate and professional record that few can match. Twice named a First Team All-America (1986, ’87-consensus), McDaniel led the Sun Devils to three bowl berths during his career, including ASU’s first-ever trip to the Rose Bowl in 1987. The native Arizonan was a two-time First Team All-Conference pick, earning the Morris Trophy as the Pac-10’s best offensive lineman and leading Arizona State to a conference title in 1986. He started 39 consecutive games for the Sun Devils after moving from tight end. McDaniels was selected in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft by Minnesota. He played 15 seasons in the league with the Vikings and Tampa Bay and secured 12 trips to the Pro Bowl. Named NFL/True Value Man of the Year for his charity work in 1996, he is a current nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Active in the community, McDaniels created and facilitated “Hands On,” an after school program for disadvantaged children. He additionally developed the R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out to Challenge Kids) Foundation, which serves as an umbrella organization for community initiatives. A member of ASU’s All-Century Team, he resides in Shorewood, Minn.
John Randle Inducted into the College Hall of Fame
 Texas A&I Kingsville 1988-89Minnesota Vikings
A defensive phenom, John Randle punished opposing offenses during his successful collegiate and pro careers. Selected as a First Team All-America in 1988, Randle was twice named the Lone Star Conference's Lineman of the Year. The Hearne, Texas, native amassed 105 tackles and 34 career sacks en route to leading the Javelinas to back-to-back conference championships in 1988 and '89 and two trips to the NCAA Division II playoffs. Starting his college playing career at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, Randle led a defense that allowed an average of only eight points per game during his senior campaign. Randle played 14 years in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks. Named an All-Pro seven times, he recorded double-digit sacks during eight different seasons, including a career-high and league-leading 15.5 sacks in 1997. He retired as the league's all-time leader in sacks by a defensive tackle (137.5). A member of the Lone Star Conference Team of the Decade for the 1980s and a 2006 inductee into the Division II Football Hall of Fame, Randle resides in Medina, Minn.
